How to measure the ring size
Do you need help to find out your size?
If you do not know the size of the ring that suits you, the most reliable way to find it out is to go to a jewelry store and ask them to measure your finger. It will take so little time and it costs nothing. If you already know your size for America or Britain, refer to the following table in order to find the corresponding European size or the number that corresponds to the inner circumference of the ring that suits you (the third and the fourth column of the table).
If you want to find the size by yourself, follow the steps below:
- Cut a piece of durable fabric, thread or wire. It is suggested for the width to be up to 10cm and for the length at least 2cm.
- Wrap the thread, the fabric or the wire around the finger you’d like to measure. Be careful for the thread to be neither tight nor loose and take into consideration the knot of the finger.
- Mark with a pen the point at which the rotation is completed around the finger you are measuring.
- Measure with a ruler the wire from the beginning until the point you have marked. This number is in millimeters and corresponds to the inner circumference of your ring; you need to select it in the menu of our website to order the ring that suits you.
While measuring, it is crucial to take into consideration that each finger has its own size and do not think- for example- that the measurements of the left hand correspond to the right hand.
The measurement should be done when the hands are warm and not cold.
Make sure you took into consideration the knot of the finger in order to put on and remove the ring.
